Cruisin!

Briggs is cruising all over the place. He will walk when I hold his hand, and push the fire engine truck around the driveway. He also loves to walk along any surface he can reach - including Myles. M will move so fast, Briggs will be on the floor before he even realized what happened. He's making more noises and becoming quite the clapper. He loves to use his hands and is using a few signs for us now.

Myles is......a different kid these days. We've tried to change up the bedtime and I don't know if that's what has set things off, or maybe he's just going through a growth spurt, but the tantrums are often and the tears come daily. Most of the time it's related to not having someone to play with, or Briggs being near 'his' toys, or even a matter of not being allowed to have fruit snacks for breakfast. All the same, we're still having good times. Harmony moments between the two boys are treasured, and time for Myles and either Dad or Mom to play with him are also treasured.

Rob recently attended a conference in Las Vegas. He had a good time, and despite leaving his new pair of pants behind, learned many new and fun things about words, rules, and copyediting.

I can hardly believe it's April. Briggs will be one year next month and I can't believe how fast the time has flown. Holding him now it's hard to recall how very tiny (and light) the little guy once was. Overall, life is good. We have many blessings.
