Kisses
Tonight we went out for dessert (so I could get a roll at Kneaders) and ended up playing at City Creek in the dinosaur play area. The boys had a lot of fun, but it was really fun watching Briggs and his admirer. She was not secret in her chasing. She was probably just a bit over two years in age and followed him around a bit before approaching. Then, she tried to hold his hand. He wasn't going to have that so he did his angry growl and hit the dinosaur several times. The girl backed off a bit but returned not too long after. She followed, and then kissed him. Either this girl is going to get what she wants or Briggs is too soon a ladies man. She kissed him at least five times on the cheek. Briggs barely responded, but when she came back around he climbed. He climbed higher than he's gone before and, again, hit the dinosaur. Love this kid!
Myles today was telling me about the differences between his Winnie the Pooh EZ Reader story and the movie. He said, "having Tigger dressed up as the backson isn't honestly correct." Then he added that "most usually" he prefers the book. His word usage is still keeping me on my toes. He attended a Halloween Party today and dressed as his skeleton from last year. His costume for this year is on its way. (Thank you Aunt Heather!) he had a good time at the party and loved popping the balloons to get the candy.
When we got home from dessert Briggs went to bed and Myles and I had some time to play. He was so excited because it was dark, so all the lights had to remain off. We were nocturnal animals, specifically bats eating roasted mice. Next we moved to a camping pair of bats, then camping and fish-eating people, then astronauts exploring the galaxy, then astronauts saving alien trishman from the red spot on Jupiter. And then, finally, we landed on our asteroid home. Myles' imagination astounds me.
